Central Florida Community College Citrus Campus invites students, parents and community members to Preview Night on Tuesday, March 23. The Hollywood-themed event begins at 6 p.m. at the Citrus Learning and Conference Center, 3800 S. Lecanto Highway, Lecanto.
"Preview Night is a chance for area students to explore the opportunities available to them locally at CFCC," said Dr. Vernon Lawter, Citrus Campus provost/vice president. "The Citrus Campus has grown dramatically in the past few years, and area high school students will find that there are more educational opportunities available than ever before."
The college will showcase the many career and educational opportunities available at CFCC with workshops on admissions, financial aid, dual enrollment, and College 101 for Parents. Campus tours and refreshments will be available.
"It’s encouraging to know that CFCC provides options even in the state of our economy, and we want to help as many people as we can discover the education and training that will prepare them for a promising future," said School Relations Coordinator Jane Pope.
