The College of Central Florida Levy Center will begin a Refresher Course for Certified Nursing Assistants on Monday, April 4. This 16-hour program is intended for nonpracticing Certified Nursing Assistants who would like to re-enter the field and CNAs who have allowed their license to lapse and need to retake the state licensure exam.
The class will meet Monday through Thursday, April 4-7, from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. The course fee is $139 and no textbook is required.
The course consists of a pre-assessment testing and review of theory as well as a thorough review and practice of the core CNA skills. This course cannot be taken as a substitute for a regular CNA course and it is not an exam prep course.
