The College of Central Florida Theatre program will present “Bad Seed”by Maxwell Anderson. Based on the novel by William March, “Bad Seed” is about a young girl suspected of murdering a classmate.
Performances will be held Wednesday through Saturday, Nov. 2-5, at 7:30 p.m.; and on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 3 p.m. All performances will be held in the Charles R. Dassance Fine Arts Center at the CF Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.
“I chose ‘Bad Seed’ because of some of the more gruesome events that have taken place locally committed by youth,” said Rob O’Brien, CF assistant professor of Theatre. “The very idea of a nature vs. nurture discussion is compelling and framed in a unique way in this piece.”
For reservations, call the CF Box Office at 352-873-5810 or visit tickets.cf.edu. Regular admission will be $12 for adults and $6 for students. CF student admission is free for all performances with CF ID. On Wednesday, Nov. 2, all high school students receive free admission to the performance with school ID.
