22nd Annual Early Childhood Conference on March 27

Central Florida Community College will host the 22nd Annual Early Childhood Conference on Saturday, March 27, at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road.

Educators can participate in dozens of workshops on preschool readiness, primary grades, parents and families, infants and toddlers, administration, and faith-based issues. Keynote presenter is Dr. Pamela Phelps, creator of "Beyond Centers and Circle Time" curriculum.

The conference will be held at the Ewers Century Center from 7:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Preregistration is $30 and registration is $50 on the day of the conference. Full-time students can attend for $25. For a program of events or to register, call 352-873-5804. Registration forms are also available at CFCC’s Information Center and Continuing Education in the Ewers Century Center.

The conference is sponsored in partnership with the Early Learning Coalition of Marion County Agency for Workforce Innovation. Child care personnel and Marion and Citrus county school board personnel can receive continuing education credits, CEUs. School board personnel can also receive Master Inservice Plan points for attending.
