Register Now for Minimester Courses at Levy Center

The Central Florida Community College Levy Center will offer some of its most popular college courses in a minimester format beginning Monday, March 1. Students will earn three or four credit hours, depending on the course. The courses will run eight weeks instead of the typical 16.

The priority registration deadline for the courses is Friday, Feb. 26, and individuals must be admitted as CFCC students. The tuition is $86.69 per credit hour. Books will be available for purchase at the Levy Center during the week of March 1.

The courses to be offered are: College Algebra (MAC 1105), College and Career Success (SLS 1501), College Prep Reading II (REA 0002), College Prep English II (ENC 0010), Freshman Composition I (ENC 1101), and Spanish I (SPN 1120). The classes will meet twice weekly during daytime hours either on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays. An additional course, Integrated Arithmetic and Algebra (MAT 0012), will be offered Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 to 11:50 a.m. All classes will meet at the Levy Center.
