The CF Institute at Central Florida Community College is offering the required Suitability of Annuity and Life Insurance Transactions for Seniors course for life insurance agents on Wednesday, March 24, at the Citrus Campus, 3800 S. Lecanto Highway, Lecanto.
The course will focus on standards and procedures developed to educate seniors about annuities and life insurance products, their needs, financial goals and objectives. It will meet 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Dorothea G. Jerome Building, Room 102. The fee is $45.
This course satisfies the CE 9911 Senior Suitability requirement for any person who holds a license to solicit or sell life insurance in Florida. The course provides three hours of intermediate continuing education credit and may be used to satisfy the ethics requirement for life insurance agents.
Certified public accountants may also enroll. Courses on insurance qualify for technical business continuing professional education credit for Florida CPAs. Written proof of attendance will be supplied.
