Central Florida Community College Citrus Campus will offer kayak and pottery courses in April.
Introduction to Kayaking will meet Saturday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to noon, and will focus on the basic skills of kayaking. The course will meet at Riversport Kayaks at the Riverside Resort, 5297 S. Cherokee Way, Homosassa. The course fee of $35 includes all equipment.
Kayak Fishing Tour will meet on two Saturdays, April 10 from 9 to 11 a.m. and April 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., also at Riversport Kayaks. The first session will provide instruction and the second session is a four-hour fishing trip. The $50 fee includes kayak equipment. Students will need to provide their own fishing gear.
Pottery 102 will meet Mondays and Wednesdays, April 12-May 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lecanto High School, 3810 W. Educational Path Lecanto. The fee is $65. Enrich your talents in working with clay.
