The CF Institute at Central Florida Community College is accepting registration for driving courses for all levels of drivers.
Drug Alcohol Traffic Education classes are available for first-time drivers. The four-hour class meets the state requirement of a traffic safety and substance abuse course for all first-time driver’s license applicants. The course fee is $38. Classes are also available online.
The one-hour Learner Permit Prep reviews major sections of the Official Florida Driver’s Handbook and prepares students for the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle’s written test, which covers road signs and traffic regulations. The course fee is $20.
Behind the Wheel Driving Lessons are offered by appointment during the day, evenings and on weekends. Fees vary. No experience is necessary.
The four-hour Driver Improvement class can be used to get insurance discounts or to avoid the points on a driver’s license. The fee is $39.
