Variations Show Choir at Central Florida Community College will feature selections from a range of Broadway musicals in its spring production "Tony! Tony! Tony!"
"This talented group of vocalists will sing songs from Tony Award-winning musicals from 1951 to 2009, including ‘Next to Normal,’ ‘Sweet Charity,’ ‘Spring Awakening,’ ‘Cats,’ and more," said Gregory Ruffer, assistant professor at CFCC and music director of the show. "You’ll sing along from your seat!"
The performances will take place in the Fine Arts Auditorium at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. Matinee performances begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, April 17 and 18. Evening performances begin at 7:30 Friday and Saturday, April 16 and 17. The production contains mature content and may not be suitable for children. Parental discretion is advised.
