The CF Institute at the College of Central Florida will offer an Entrepreneur Academy beginning Saturday, Sept. 18, to guide new business owners and operators in implementing a successful business venture.
Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays through Oct. 30 and will meet in the Enterprise Center at the Ocala Campus, 3001 S.W. College Road. The course fee is $148.
In seven, three-hour sessions, participants will explore topics including: Managing Your Personal Financial Condition, Determining the Barriers to Entering a Market, Refining the Business Idea, and more. The Personal Financial Management segment of the class is offered in cooperation with the University of Florida Marion County Extension of the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.
Participants will have an opportunity to meet local entrepreneurs and representatives from other organizations associated with small businesses including SCORE, Small Business Development Center and Small Business Administration.
